Awesome Adventure Women offering New Health and Wealth Programs Starting Summer 2009

First again I would like to thank all AAW guest, members and advisory board members for making our organization successful. Without your participation and interest in joining us on our adventures or being a part of our advisory board, Awesome Adventure Women would struggle.

After much sole searching I decided to offer the following 6 PART SOLUTION as part of our “Health and Wealth Project” for AAW participants, AAW Advisors, my massage clients, friends, family and business associates. We will always evaluate the programs and add to the offering or eliminate those not working.

• We are going to schedule more STRESS MANAGEMENT AND WELLNESS classes. Many different ones will be offered which will be fully explained as they are scheduled.
• We will be offering different FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT programs. The average family has 6-10 credit cards--some maxed out--which is putting their future in financial jeopardy. We hope to have a program for teens to keep them from getting into a financial “sinkhole.”
• We will create a networking group for people who want to promote their own BUSINESSES, with the idea of supporting each other in our quest for financial self-responsibility and self-management.
• We plan to put more articles and research information on all aspects of HEALTH and WELLNESS on our web site. We are particularly interested in sharing information on the prevention and recovery from heart disease, since it is the #1 killer in the United States. Over one million people die annually from heart disease with 500 thousand of them being women.
• We plan to offer mind fitness programs of different kinds from relaxation training to self-hypnosis training. Our population is getting older. There are approximately 67 million baby boomers. Important to most of them is a SOUND MIND in a HEALTHY BODY.
• We also will explore some of the better training programs currently on the market that has science-based research to recommend them. With that said, we have joined a Global Wellness Direct Sales Company, NuSkin, one of the three largest companies in the United States, with the plan of creating HEALTH AND WEALTH for our organization and for others who join us.

As I said, although there are many troublesome issues we face today, we have to identify the main problems in order to find a solution. It is clear the problem for most is:

• Not enough INCOME and too much stress which is making many overeat, lose sleep, feel anxiety, smoke, experience more family conflict and illness whether it is due to not enough income or the loss of homes and jobs and families. Stress is implicated in as much as 90% of medical problems
• We need to take care of our HEALTH to cope with everyday challenges and to be productive. That means learning how to manage our stress, eat nutritious food and take proper nutrients.

People can earn more INCOME by getting another J-O-B, if they are available, but parents are already overloaded and few jobs are available right now. That is not an option for most people.

How about a business? We all know that there are many advantages of a business. There are tax benefits, ability to make your own decisions, freedom to take off to participate in family activities and LEVERGE. When you have people work for you, they can be working and earning for you when you are busy or sick. Difficulty: Most new business cost $100,000 or more to get going.

That won’t work for most. People need a solution that will not require such a huge expenditure.

There is a way to produce high income over time--step by step—that does not require you to drain your savings, cause you to go in debt or mortgage your house--which many people do to start a traditional business. We are going to offer such a plan (below) with NuSkin, a direct marketer.

I have asked my team partner Jeanne Goldberg, an AAW member to help organize the HEALTH and WEALTH PROJECT with NuSkin, as well as help organize other activities while reaching out to our members and guest. With your permission, I have asked her to talk to some of our supporters, trainers and advisory board members to see if they will work with us in a number of different capacities.

Jeanne's background is varied. She was a Health and Physical Education instructor in public high school, was a physical education and recreation director at a special school and was a Health Education Director of a YWCA. Her second degree was in Horticulture and Landscape Design. She has won many Awards for her city garden. Jeanne worked in Pain and Stress management in a medical setting, using various modalities from biofeedback to mind machines. She was a hypnosis trainer for two of the largest National Hypnosis and Counseling organizations. She is an instructor in Nordic Walking and Rebounding.
